Reaching beyond the bounds of the analog delay mundane, the Electronic Audio Experiments Sending is an otherworldly look into bucket brigade delays. EAE, mad scientists of analog and digital design that they are, meld the two together for an expressive, classically analog delay superpowered by incredible digital architecture. Sending is an outstanding example of analog delay reaching past the fourth wall and hitting "unlock" on your mind.
The Sending V2 centers its design around a pair of MN3005 bucket brigade delay chips. These classic bucket brigades fire up the entire pedal at square one with a deeply expressive, dark, murky, and degrading character. Fans of the shadowy, shimmery analog tones of old certainly have a home with Sending as it works through massively charming analog character to be sculpted through close modulation controls. The Sending V2 reaches up to a solid second of delay time that lovingly introduces delectably degrading character as it rings out.
From here, Sending gets down to business even further with a robust tone and modulation shaping experience. Through the pedal's onboard Shift push-button control, Sending opens up to an unprecedented level of tone shaping. Onboard LFO modulation, filtering, and preamp control invents new realities of analog delay for in-depth tone control and playability alongside tap tempo control and Chaos modulation randomization.
Further features on Sending to further put it over the edge include advanced digital connectivity and playability. A TRS MIDI connection opens up the Sending's preset library from its baseline three to an external thirty-two. This, combined with a CV/expression control connection builds out remote control over one or multiple devices at once. Further connections include a FX loop in introduces additional effects units into the Sending's delay path for wilder tonal shifting while standard power supply requirements bring the Sending to life in any rig.
